Reason for Pledging: As I did my research and met sisters, I saw that LTA embodies the universal woman. These are women who can handle themselves in any situation, they respect themselves and others, they are polite, passionate and presentable. They are leaders in many ways, by contributing to their community and setting a standard of academic excellence while living their lives through the principles of unity, love and respect. This is the kind of woman I strive to be. I pledged Lambda Theta Alpha because these are the kind of women I wanted to associate myself with, the kind of women I wanted as my sisters.
